This year the ladies of the church planned and hosted the Ladies’ retreat at Blue Rock Christian Camp. Blue Rock is one of the missions our church proudly supports and offers programs for both children and adults. This year the theme was Shine! The ladies enjoyed fellowship, workshops, and a steak and chicken dinner. Worship music was provided by Jessica H., and Jessica B., and Michael from Montville’s Worship Team and we thank them for glorifying God through music!
This year, the speaker was Jody Camp. Here is a little about Jodie from Blue Rock’s website:
Jody is the daughter-in-law of Barb Camp. She is the wife of Jeff Camp and the mother of young adults Brody and Briley. All four of these amazing humans has helped to challenge and push her to be the very best version of herself . She has a heart for sharing what God has been able to do in her and through her. Life throws us many situations where we have to dig deep and lean into God for guidance, support, peace, and strength to push through. She believes that no matter how hard it is we should be brave and transparent with others. It’s how we grow and how those we encounter can grow to. Being able to be Jesus with skin on to others in our greatest calling.
